"To have a right to do a thing is not at all the same as to be right in doing it."
Each citizen of the Republic of Bookland shall publicly declare and maintain a personal document entitled My Bill of Responsibilities. (Examples are available here; examples may be copied.) The document shall consist of the following sections, in addition to any others that said citizen chooses to include:
Commitment to Authenticity
Describe your commitment to truthfulness and responsibility in exercising your right to each of the following:
I shall uphold the principle of freedom of religion.
Describe what commitment to freedom of religion means to you:
I shall be responsible in exercising my right to freedom of speech. In particular, that responsibility includes each of the following:
I shall refrain from creating or consuming prurience.

I shall refrain from unduly provocative or antisocial expression.

While enjoying freedom of speech, I shall be responsible in conveying allegations about others, ensuring that I assert as factual only that which I know to be true. I shall avoid damaging the reputations of others unless it is unavoidable, and then I will disclose only what is necessary.I acknowledge that campaigning is illegal in Bookland.
